The situation in the West Bank continues to degenerate.
The title of this bitterly critical editorial in the Israeli daily Haaretz tells it all: Netanyahu Is Mr. Jewish Terrorism.
It places the blame for West Bank terrorism squarely where it belongs – on the settlers and the Prime Minister who facilitates their lawless violence.
And it describes recent events in uncompromising terms: “Hundreds of settlers, some of them armed, embarked last week on an unbridled campaign of vengeance that lasted several days.”

When is the world – when are “friends” of Palestine – going to complain of the blatant ethnic cleansing that is going on, particularly in occupied Palestine? Clearly when it is considered too late to do anything about it!
We need to stop pretending that Israeli administrations are not totally committed to a programme of ethnic cleasing using irregular colonists (“settlers”) and the military – all directly and indirectly sponsored by Christian Zionists in the USA, and by Joe Biden.
Haaretz saying things papers (and politicians) elsewhere won’t for fear of being labelled anti-semitic.
